Newcastle University is the lead organisation for this project.
Its School of Marine Science and Technology (MAST) brings expertise from a diverse range of marine biology, oceanography, and offshore engineering disciplines together, and annually educates over 900 students from 40 countries. It has a strong commitment to engaging wider society with marine issues and promoting advocacy and stewardship for oceans. Training will take place at its Dove Marine Laboratory.
